What we collect

We don’t collect personal information by default. You can use this site without creating an account, signing in, or providing your name, address, phone number, or payment details.

We may receive limited technical information that browsers and servers normally exchange (for example: general device type, approximate location inferred from IP, and basic request logs). When possible, we minimize and limit retention of such data.

Calculator inputs

Calculator inputs are processed locally. The values you enter (price per job, jobs per month, months worked, hours per job, business expenses, target income, etc.) are used to compute results in your browser.

We do not store or transmit your calculator inputs as part of normal use. Your business numbers — pricing, income estimates, expenses — remain on your device unless you choose to copy or share them yourself.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics in a privacy-friendly configuration to understand general traffic patterns (for example, which calculators are used most often and which pages are visited).

We do not use personalized advertising or remarketing, Google Signals, ad personalization features, or client-side analytics cookie storage (configured for cookieless operation).

Our configuration anonymizes IP addresses, disables ad-related storage (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization), disables Google Signals, and disables client-side storage where supported.

Note: Google Analytics is a third-party service. Even with privacy-friendly settings, some data processing may occur within Google’s systems. Please refer to Google’s privacy documentation for details.

Cookies

We do not display a cookie banner because the site is configured to avoid storing analytics cookies by default (Google Analytics is configured for cookieless mode).

If we add embedded third-party content in the future (videos, maps, widgets), those services may set their own cookies or track usage. If that happens, we will update this policy and (if necessary) implement appropriate consent mechanisms.

Affiliate links

This site may include affiliate links to retailers and service providers (including Amazon, Drone Pilot Ground School, and Keeper). If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase or sign up, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

When you click an affiliate link, you leave our site and are subject to that company’s privacy policy and tracking practices. We do not receive your payment details and do not receive personal purchase information from our affiliate partners.

Pages may link to external websites for additional information, training providers, or service recommendations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites. Please review their policies if you choose to visit them.

Children’s privacy

Drone Business Tools is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in the site, legal requirements, or best practices. The latest version will always be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
